The Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts Endowment Fund
Since its opening in 1993 the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) has been recognized throughout Southern California as a landmark cultural destination for the region.
The visionary leadership displayed by the Cerritos City Council in developing and building this magnificent theater was matched by its visionary belief in guaranteeing adequate on-going financial support for the venue's operation. To accomplish this goal, the Cerritos City Council established the CCPA Endowment Fund in 1994. In establishing the Endowment Fund the Cerritos City Council made an unequivocal commitment to future generations of Southern Californians by dedicating funds to ensure that the CCPA would remain a warm, welcoming, accessible, and affordable venue in which patrons experience the joy of entertainment and cultural enrichment.
During the past 14 performance seasons the Cerritos City Council and the CCPA's management group have been diligent in their efforts to support the Endowment Fund's current and future growth. These efforts have resulted in a fund that now stands at $8.5 million and that is growing annually toward a goal of $20 million.
At this time the members of the Cerritos City Council invite you to consider becoming a CCPA Associate and joining them in the work of guaranteeing a place in Southern California for the broad-based arts and entertaining programming that is the CCPA's hallmark .
Corporate support and individual contributions to the fund's growth make it possible for CCPA program offerings to continue and expand without concern for the political and financial swings that have so often, in the recent and distant past, affected private and government support for the arts on the local, state, and national levels.
CCPA Associates will receive benefits commensurate with their level of support - ranging from a subscription to the CCPA's Premier News publication to performance season previews, advance ticket purchase privileges, and exclusive invitations to performance related social events. As with contributed support to other social benefit causes, contributions to the CCPA Endowment Fund are tax deductible.
The Cerritos City Councilmembers thank you for taking the time to consider making a commitment to the future of the arts and entertainment in Southern California. Should you choose to join them in this good work, you can easily do so by assigning a donation to your Ticket Order form in your Series Subscription and Season Package Brochure or by calling 562-916-8510.
