The world-class Musica Angelica orchestra enchants with a wide-ranging repertoire that spans the Baroque period through the early Classical era. Under the direction of internationally renowned conductor-composer Martin Haselböck, the ensemble has garnered critical acclaim, with the Pasadena Star News exalting the “powerful emotions and the clarity and invigorating complexity” of its performances. Haselböck, also an accomplished organist, has won the prestigious Deutscher Schallplatten Critics’ Prize and Hungary’s Franz Liszt Prize. The performance features eight vocal soloists.
