Q:What dates are available for outside users?A:The theater is in standard operation from early Sept to late May of the proceeding year. The theater is closed the end of June to early August for summer maintenance. Q:How much does it cost to rent the theater?A:Theater rates are based on a 14-hour per day rental fee of $9,500 for weekdays (Monday-Thursday) and $12,000 for weekends (Friday-Sunday). Additional charges are calculated for all labor, production equipment, instruments, Ticket Office set-up, and Emergency Medical Technician services. All events at the CCPA must utilize the facilities ticketing system and staff. Volunteers may be required in some areas, which will be discussed as part of your estimate. Q:How many seating configurations are available in the theater?A:There are currently five primary seating options for rental clients, based on theater availability. The seating plots vary from Drama/Lyric Recital - 920 seats (small recitals); Lyric Theater - 1,391 seats (musical theater, dance and Pop music); Cabaret Dining - 1,500 seats with 67 small cocktail tables on the Orchestra floor (Jazz and popular music); Concert Hall - 1,629 seats (Orchestra in a 3/4 round acoustical environment); and Arena - 1,721 seats (Popular music in 3/4 round).Return to the Top of the Page
Q:Does the CCPA require insurance for rental events?A:Yes. We require $5,000,000 event liability insurance for any event that is held on stage or being filmed on location at the theater. Q:Is there a charge for parking?A:No. The CCPA offers complimentary parking to all guests. Parking and directions to the theater are available under the Plan Your Visit section of the web site.Return to the Top of the Page
Q:Does the CCPA permit clients to provide concessions/alcohol for events?A:No. All alcohol service is sold separately by the Center's exclusive alcohol provider, the Patina Restaurant Group. Drinks are only permitted in Cabaret Seating. Outside users do not get any percentage of sales for the event.Return to the Top of the Page
Q:What is required in order to confirm a reservation?A:A fully executed signed contract and 50% of your total estimated expenses are due soon after your contract meeting.
